Soya Nuggets (or soya chunks) are convenient way to increase your protein intake. It can be used alongside (or instead of) meat as it has a firm, meaty texture. They are un-flavoured but soak up surrounding flavours in the juices and seasonings.

About Soya

Soya protein is very popular around the world, and is a staple for some people. It contains all eight basic amino acids, and is thus a balanced source of protein. It can be used instead of meat. The soya protein in these chunks is also fortified with the essential vitamins thiamine, riboflavin and vitamin B12, as well as iron.

How To Cook

This 500g pack of soya chunks will make several meals, and is fantastic value. They expand upon soaking and cooking, providing around 2 or 3 large meals for every 100g of dry weight.

We recommend that you soak them in boiling water for about 10 minutes before use and flavour with a seasoning such as garam masala, with a touch of soy sauce or balsamic vinegar. Once the Soya has expanded, cook as if they were normal meat.

Add to curries, ratatouille and stews. These soya chunks are very satisfying, are a great source of protein and are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and indeed everyone!
